Position Overview:
The Senior Project Manager oversees real estate and building projects for a private family’s private residences. This role involves acting as the Owner’s Representative, managing project budgets, timelines, and ensuring compliance with trust regulations. The position requires collaboration with designers and contractors to execute the principals’ vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Oversight: Manage real estate projects from design to completion, ensuring principals' interests are protected.
- Design Coordination: Aid in selecting design teams and coordinate meetings to keep principals informed.
- Budget Management: Create and manage project budgets, review invoices, and ensure financial accuracy.
- Contract Management: Engage and oversee contractors, ensure compliance with contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
- Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project timelines, coordinate with contractors to meet deadlines.
- Safety and Security: Ensure project safety through regular site inspections and adherence to safety protocols.
- Team Management: Supervise Project Coordinators and Managers, and communicate effectively with the broader team.
- Principal Interaction: Meet with principals to provide updates and ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
- 15 years of experience managing high-end residential projects.
- MA Construction Supervisors License preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., Asana, AutoCAD).
- Knowledge of safety regulations, home automation systems, and building techniques.
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
- Valid U.S. work authorization and driver's license required.
