Senior Property Field Claims Adjuster Compensation
- The pay for this position is $74,000.00 to 95,000.00 salary depending on experience
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Senior Property Field Claims Adjuster Highlights
- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm
Senior Property Field Claims Adjuster Responsibilities
- Investigate claims by determining applicable policy coverage, evaluate damages, and negotiate settlements.
- Contact insureds, claimants, and relevant parties to gather necessary information, explain the claims process, and obtain recorded statements when needed.
- Perform physical and/or virtual inspections of damaged properties, evaluate damages, and prepare written estimates based on policy provisions and liability.
- Utilize cutting-edge technologies such as drones and virtual claim handling software for property inspections.
- Maintain required licensing and adjuster certifications.
- Drive to appointments using company-provided vehicle (must maintain a valid driver’s license).
- Occasionally work outside of normal business hours depending on business needs.
Senior Property Field Claims Adjuster Requirements
- Typically requires 7 years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education and training
- Maintains the appropriate adjuster's licensing as required by the states in which we do business.
- Multilingual is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft WORD and Excel (or their equivalents), Xactimate, and/or other claims estimating software (as applicable).
- Possesses competent knowledge with residential and commercial construction techniques.
- This job operates in a work from home and virtual office environment with a mobile office/company vehicle to work from and utilize for transportation to and from appointments.
- Work may extend beyond normal business hours as business needs dictate.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with the ability to drive an automobile.
- May be called upon for catastrophic duty.
- Maintains the appropriate adjuster's licensing as required by the states in which we do business.
- Part 107 drone license required for roof inspections. License must be obtained within 5 months of start date; must pass exam within 3 attempts.
- Attendance mandatory for first 90 days
