Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of property accounting for a portfolio of commercial real estate properties.
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, ledgers, and supporting documentation.
- Conduct CAM reconciliations and ensure all costs are allocated correctly.
- Collaborate with property managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Participate in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing detailed financial analysis and projections.
- Review and approve tenant billings, lease abstracts, and rent rolls.
- Assist with year-end audits and tax preparations.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting, preferably in the commercial real estate sector.
- Proficiency in MRI software and general ledger systems.
- Strong knowledge of CAM reconciliations and real estate accounting principles.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
