Responsibilities of the Senior Property Accountant include but are not limited to:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP compliant financial reports
- Maintain general ledgers, supporting reconciliations & supporting documents
- Accounting and analysis to ensure the accuracy of general ledgers, cash
accounts, balance sheet accounts and P&L statements - Assisting in month-end close process
- Establishing and developing standard operating procedures as needed
- Assisting property management and other external stakeholders with analysis,
reporting and supporting schedules as needed
Background Expected of the Senior Property Accountant:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Three years of real estate accounting preferred
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite and an ability to learn new technology
- Excellent communication, administrative and customer services skills
