Job Details
The Senior Commercial Property Accountant plays a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and effective vendor management for multiple commercial entities. Key responsibilities include:
Preparing monthly financial statements, ensuring data integrity through recording, verifying, consolidating, and analyzing transactions.
Establishing and enforcing robust accounting methods, policies, and principles for commercial properties.
Managing cash receipts, lease abstracts, move-outs, security deposits, rent rolls, delinquency reports, and accounts payable coding.
Conducting bank reconciliations, calculating property management fees, and overseeing CAM estimates, reforecasts, and reconciliations.
Reviewing financial statements, managing client distributions/contributions, and overseeing general accounting functions.
Maintaining cash records, performing cash management tasks, and collaborating with property managers and accounting team members.
Conducting CAM reconciliations using various tools, including MRI, Kardin, and Excel.
Managing external audits, maintaining property documentation, and overseeing vendor relationships with MRI and RentPayment.com.
Interfacing with clients and external parties, training junior staff, and undertaking other assigned duties.
