Senior Project Manager – Seer Technology Access Center (STAC)
This role is based on-site in Redwood City (Redwood Shores), California.
The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing external service projects and collaborations with a broad range of customers across academic institutes as well as pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The candidate must be able to effectively coordinate internal resources to meet project timelines and budgets. This role will report to the Senior Vice President of Product Development.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all aspects of external-facing projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of services from study kick-off after project 'WIN" through delivery of final report and triggering of invoicing by finance group.
- Ownership of typical PM duties including process implementation and improvement, document administration, etc.
- Collaborate with Applications Lab team to intake, process, and manage non-standard service projects.
- Interface extensively with Head of Sales Operations to assure accurate tracking of projects, STAC sales forecast accuracy, and associated projected/realized revenue.
- Maintain and expand the use of Jira application for project tracking, linking to project documents, and report out analytics, both project-specific and STAC in-general.
- Oversight of service project metadata curation strategies to support cross-departmental KPIs including sales target monitoring, marketing metrics, and new application adoption
- Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional STAC leadership, including commercial, laboratory operations, and data science, to ensure seamless project execution.
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant scientific discipline (e.g., biochemistry, molecular biology, physics or related field).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing customer or client-facing laboratory service projects, preferably in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or academic research sectors.
- Expertise in building automated and scalable workflows in Project Management software: Jira and Asana experience preferred.
- Experience with Sales Force (SFDC) application software a plus.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
- Passion for innovation and a desire to work in a small, fast-paced company environment.

At Seer, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $140,000 and $150,000 and will depend on the candidates education, skills, qualifications, experience, and location. This position is also eligible for bonus, benefits, and participation in Company's stock option plan.
