About the Job
We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with previous experience managing water and wastewater projects to join the North Carolina Water Team for a world-renowned engineering firm.
*This position can also be based in Columbia, SC, Raleigh, NC, Winston-Salem or Greensboro, NC.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Managing water/wastewater design, permitting, and construction services through the full life cycle of the project.
- Providing technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring engineering staff to enhance our water services design capabilities.
- Being responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring, and for projects.
- Assisting with the preparation of design engineering drawings and specifications on large complex, multi-discipline design projects.
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key decision-makers in our clients’ organizations.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering related discipline
- 10 years of related experience.
- Professional engineering (PE) license with the ability to sign off and/or alter engineering drawings.
- Previous experience working on and managing design projects for municipal drinking water, wastewater, and/or pump stations.
- Previous experience working directly with clients.
- Previous experience working and managing projects for municipal clients in this area.

In this position, you will manage multi-million-dollar planning and design projects, manage project teams, and develop the scope and budget for projects.
