About the Job
Responsibilities will include:
- Must be able to take project from original concept through final implementation.
- Able to provide technical and analytical guidance to project team.
- Coordinate installation of standard and non-standard software.
- Manage multiple fast-paced projects involving moving, standing up, and decommissioning IT equipment.
- Coordinate with other JSP teams for Network, Printer, VoIP, VoSIP, VTC, cable TV, moves, stand-ups, and decommissions.
- Coordinate transportation of IT equipment.
- Schedule and conduct equipment surveys, port surveys, and walk-throughs of customer spaces.
- Responsible for standing up IT services for Boards, Task Forces, and Commissions.
- Coordinate port activations, port flips, and installation of drops for office standups and moves.
- Able to recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutions of problems.
- Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis.
- Performs all functional duties independently.
- Oversees the efforts of direct reporting resources and/or is responsible for the efforts of all staff assigned to a specific job.
Requirements:
- 10 years’ experience in project management or related field, preferably in software application development and/or related field.
- Must have Top secret security clearance.
- Experience with managing software application development projects of various sizes, including client interaction and meeting facilitation.
- Experience reviewing software documentation such as requirements specifications, design documents, manuals, test plans/cases, test scripts and test reports.
- Experience with Inventory Management, Enterprise Asset Management and Fulfillment processes.
- Experience with Remedy and SharePoint.
- Experience with Agile Methodologies.
- Knowledge of SDLC practices.
- Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Change Management, and Configuration Management (VersionOne, ServiceNow, etc.).
- Experience training/mentoring junior level personnel.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance.
Experience: Senior Level (10+ years)
Education: BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related field.
