Responsibilities:
- Lead and monitor the effective business and technical performance of assigned projects. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards. Coordinate project budget and schedule. Assist in preparation of fee proposals and contracts.
- Knowledge of construction techniques, design, GDOT Specifications and documents.
- Monitor project compliance and perform risk mitigation activities that follow client and corporate protocols.
- Manage and oversee work of project team and provide direction and organization. Ensure project delivery and quality from programming through construction. Coordinate monthly billing with accountant. Maintain budget spreadsheets for projects. Manage project files and documentation. Assist in overall office management.
- Act as primary client contact. Establish and maintain client contact and secure ongoing work. Ensure client development and satisfaction. Assist in the identification of new projects, implementation of effective strategic plans to win these projects, and the development of proposals.
- Schedule staff workload. Assist in the selection and establishment of project teams. Direct and support design staff, conduct reviews and assist in establishing training activities.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or like degree with relevant experience
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction management
- Licenses/Registrations/Certifications preferred
