We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and executing a range of construction projects from inception to completion. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about leading teams, managing clients, and delivering high-quality construction projects. The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in our organization, ensuring the successful execution of projects, maintaining client relationships, and contributing to the overall growth and success of our company.
Responsibilities:
1. Oversee all aspects of construction project management, including planning, coordination, and execution of projects, ensuring that our clients' requirements are met.
2. Develop comprehensive project plans, manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
3. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other construction and building specialists.
4. Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards, maintaining a safe and risk-free workplace.
5. Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of issues.
6. Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards, implementing improvements where necessary.
7. Prepare and present reports detailing the progress of each project to both internal teams and clients.
8. Implement quality control programs, ensuring that the end product not only aligns with the customer's expectations but also meets our high-quality standards.
9. Develop and maintain an understanding of the marketplace, competitor activity, and market trends.
10. Contribute to the overall operations and strategic planning of the construction department, driving continuous improvement and growth.
Qualifications:
1. Project experience in the commercial sector is highly desired.
2. Minimum of 10+ years of experience in project management in the construction industry, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
3. Proficient in project management software, such as MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent.
4. Strong knowledge of construction processes, means and methods, understanding of construction laws and regulations.
5. Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
