Our client is located in the Boston area and are looking to bring in an experienced Senior Project Manager for residential projects. They have been in business 30 years and are growing. They are a unique company with both commercial and residential construction projects of very high quality. Most growth is on the residential side & projects run from $10k into the millions. On average, projects are $2M each (i.e. a bathroom at $800k and so on). Their work on the residential side involves design and interior construction or renovation using high end materials.
You will lead the estimation, material selection, fabrication, and installation of high-end kitchens, bathrooms and much more. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction with the ability to estimate and build quality projects on schedule and work well with contractors and clients. JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Lead estimation, material selection, fabrication, and installation of high-end kitchens, bathrooms and much more
- Use your ability to estimate & budget and bring projects to completion on schedule
- Develop relationships with clients and contractors & interact in a team environment
- Manage multiple projects concurrently
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years’ experience in residential construction
- Proficiency in MS Project, Excel, Word and Outlook
- Possess a strong background in residential construction
- The ability to develop and monitor project schedules
- The ability to manage costs and billings for the projects
- The ability to identify, prepare and negotiate change orders as necessary
- Strong organizational skills
- Proven leadership and management qualities
- A detail-oriented approach to problem solving
- Experience leading a team of project managers considered a bonus
