Summary:
Join us as a Senior Project Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting our dynamic Engineering and Sales Teams. We are seeking a talented individual to oversee the commercial performance of our product portfolio, specifically focusing on water quality enhancement for municipal and industrial applications. This position offers a pathway towards a leadership role within our Engineering Manager track. If you thrive on building solutions and are eager to take on new challenges, we encourage you to apply. This is a remote position with occasional travel to Philadelphia and/or San Diego.
Responsibilities:
Spearhead the engineering and technical aspects of water treatment projects.
Develop comprehensive project plans, managing scope, timeline, and budget. Present plans for approval to the technology director and stakeholders.
Ensure resource allocation and coordinate team activities, both internal and external, to support project objectives. Foster strong relationships.
Lead project coordination meetings and provide regular updates to the management team.
Participate in technical and quality reviews, offering guidance to uphold standards of excellence.
Drive the preparation of project specifications and contribute to proposal development for new initiatives.
Maintain thorough project documentation and measure performance using established systems and tools.
Support the training and mentorship of new or less experienced project managers and engineers.
Requirements:
Previous experience in the municipal or industrial water industry is essential.
Bachelor's degree in engineering (chemical, industrial, environmental) or related field.
Prior exposure to the water treatment industry is highly advantageous.
Demonstrated experience in project management or relevant responsibilities.
Proficiency in spoken, written, and comprehension of Spanish is required.
Willingness and readiness to assume leadership responsibilities in the future, including managing a small team of engineers.
Experience in a production manufacturing environment is preferred.
PMP certification is desirable.
