Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: Hybrid, Northeastern Region
Description:
The Senior Project Manager is responsible for fostering collaboration between senior leadership, business units, support services, and IT to develop and achieve technology-driven business objectives. This role involves identifying strategic opportunities, formulating recommendations, and leading the implementation of large-scale technology projects across cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors.
Required Skills:
Bachelor's degree and 5-10 years of experience in a business and technical environment or 10+ years of relevant experience.
5-10 years as an IT Project Manager in a matrix environment, including collaboration with clients and third parties.
Experience in IT application development, business analysis, and familiarity with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, and quality assurance.
Expertise in project management methodologies, including waterfall, agile, and hybrid approaches.
Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Demonstrated ability to lead projects from planning to implementation, coordinating internal teams and external partners.
Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and achieve consensus.
Experience with estimating, forecasting, financial management, and competitive bid/RFP processes.
Proficiency in MS Project, Office 365, JIRA, and SharePoint.
Desired Skills:
Graduate degree in Information Systems or a related field.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related technical disciplines.
PMI certification or equivalent training.
Regulated utility operations experience and understanding of related processes.s.
