Progressive, fast-paced, growing environmental consulting firm has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Manager with 10 - 15 years' experience. Candidates should have experience with large to mid-size projects including management of all work phases from investigation through remediation. Experience with NJDEP/LSRP projects a plus. Experience in project and task management is also required including coordination with management, clients and project teams. Seeking a candidate with a Get It Done attitude. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with junior and senior level staff on projects of varying sizes/complexity.
Primary responsibilities will implementation and management of technical and administrative aspects of environmental remediation projects, as well as client communication and coordination. The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills and must be proficient at preparing and presenting technical presentations to senior staff, and clients. Experience with developing/preparing technical reports and supporting graphics is highly desired.
Other responsibilities include developing work scopes and cost estimates, implementing, directing, and overseeing soil, groundwater and vapor intrusion investigations, data management and evaluation, and technical report writing. Targeted Qualifications and Experience:
- A bachelor's degree in the physical or natural sciences, engineering, or geology is required; an MS degree (or higher) with multi-disciplinary technical background and interest in continued cross-training is preferred
- 10-15 years' experience.
- Knowledgeable and proficient in NJDEP statutes and regulations (e.g., SRRA/LSRP, ARRCS and TRSR), associated technical guidance documents, regulatory timeframes, documentation/reporting requirements, and SRP regulatory forms.
- Experience with: remedial investigations and design and implementation of remedial actions.
- Strong emphasis on excellent technical writing skills - clear and concise presentation of complex information;
- Highly organized with excellent interpersonal communication skills;
- Conscientious, dedicated, hard-working, committed to excellence and exceptional client service.
- A professional license such as P.G., P.E., and/or LSRP, or the academic qualifications and commitment to obtain such licensure is a plus.
- Candidate must have valid driver's license and auto insurance, plus 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and annual 8-hour refresher training.
