About the Job
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager in our Red Bank, NJ office to help grow our Municipal engineering discpline. This person will be responsible for developing a Municipal/Public Agency client base and cross-selling all of our firm’s services. Main responsibilities include business development, client management, building a staff and generating and maintaining clients.
Responsibilities:• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of municipal engineering including capital project design, stormwater management, utility design, cost estimating, construction administration, land use, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of the regulatory permitting process for the region.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
• Proven track record with client management and business development.
• Ability to manage staff.
• Experience with preparing proposals, developing budgets, tracking budgets and the associated financial management skills necessary to run a team and monitor the performance of the business.
• Site Investigation & Due Diligence includes the review of ordinances, utility service research, outside agency regulations and site visits to establish comprehensive development guidelines.
• Preparation of construction plans and specifications, public bid documents, construction cost estimates, and associated construction documents.
• Ability to evaluate public work issues in municipalities.
• Knowledge of stormwater management design and regulations.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15+ years of municipal engineering/capital project design.
• PE required.
• Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D Preferred.
• Experience managing and supervising the work efforts of assigned staff regarding scope, schedule, quality and budget of projects.
• Ability to track and oversee multiple projects.
• Effective written and communication skills.
• Self-Starter who can work independently with team members.
• Ability to perform client management duties.
• Ability to generate revenue and perform business development duties.
