Here’s What You’ll Get to Do:
- Create and execute project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
- Identify resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
- Will be a critical stakeholder in M&A activity, and associated integrations.
- Review deliverables prepared by team before passing to client.
- Effectively apply OBE PM methodology and enforce project standards.
- Prepare for engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures.
- Minimize exposure and risk on project.
- Ensure project reports are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
- Manage the project timeline and budget.
- Determine appropriate revenue recognition, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project.
- Analyze project profitability, revenue, margins, bill rates, efficiency and utilization.
- Provide single point of contact, ensuring specific requests are process timely and appropriately.
- Drive Management of Change philosophy and enforces corresponding procedures.
- Supervise project engineers, coordinators and admins.
- Participate as a contributing member of assigned Business Unit.
- Consistently acknowledge and appreciate each team member's contributions.
- Effectively utilize each team member to his/her fullest potential.
- Motivate team to work together in the most efficient manner.
- Keep track of lessons learned and share those lessons with team members.
- Mitigate team conflict and communication issues.
- Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
- Lead and/or act as a member of internal teams/task forces.
Here’s What We’re Looking For:
- Ability to travel extensively to be onsite for M&A integration activity, ~75% of the time.
- Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years of related experience as a Project Manager or similar role. Previous M&A and integration experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree and 7+ years of on the job training education. MBA preferred.
- Ability to instill a sense of project ownership and accountability in the project team.
- Ability to work with other departments (Operations, IT, HR, Procurement, Finance and Accounting) to ensure the timely delivery of quality goods and services which meet or exceed our project expectations.
- Ability to provide active coaching and mentoring to Project Engineers and/or Coordinators assigned to him/her. Takes an ACTIVE role in developing their skills and progressing them professionally.
- Ability to identify opportunities for team member improvement and makes constructive suggestions for change.
- Ability to comply with and help to enforce standard policies and procedures.
