Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams (CFT) through all phases of the product lifecycle, from concept to market release, ensuring all project goals are met within the specified timelines and budget.
- Act as a project advocate, ensuring that all team members are aligned and working towards the same objectives.
- Oversee and manage all aspects of the Design History File (DHF) ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOP) and Quality Management Systems (QMS) in line with FDA requirements.
- Manage relationships with contractors and suppliers, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
- Coordinate the development of embedded and electro-mechanical systems, ensuring all technical requirements are met.
- Use your project management skills to manage risks, resolve issues and initiate corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to identify opportunities for process and product improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical, Software, or Systems.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the medical device industry.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of FDA regulations, SOP, QMS, and DHF.
- Experience in managing contractors and suppliers.
- Proficient in the development of embedded and electro-mechanical systems.
- Excellent project management skills, PMP certification is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and deliver results in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis.
- High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
