Position Overview:
We are seeking a results-driven Senior Project Manager to lead, sell, and manage HVAC projects from inception to completion. This hybrid combines high-level project management with sales responsibilities, making it integral to our operations and growth. The ideal candidate will possess technical expertise, leadership acumen, and a passion for delivering exceptional results while driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Lead and oversee multiple HVAC projects, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and client satisfaction.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, schedules, and subcontractor coordination.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and resolving challenges proactively.
- Conduct regular project meetings and status updates for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and company standards.
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and deliver compelling sales proposals, presentations, and contracts tailored to client needs.
- Drive business development initiatives to expand the company’s client base and foster long-term partnerships.
- Act as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring a high standard of communication and relationship management.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in alignment with company growth strategies.
Financial Management:
- Oversee project budgets, financial reporting, and forecasting to maximize profitability.
- Analyze revenue, cost, and margin data to ensure projects meet financial objectives.
- Collaborate with finance and operations teams to streamline processes and improve financial performance.
Team Leadership:
- Provide guidance and support to project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Mentor junior staff, sharing industry knowledge and best practices.
- Supervise the Operations Team during on-site visits, ensuring operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in HVAC project management or sales, preferably in a senior role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field (preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project) and HVAC systems.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of revenue, cost, and margin management.
- Sales Expertise: Proven track record in driving sales growth and building lasting client relationships.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
- Safety Champion: Committed to adhering to safety protocols and leading by example.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and work on ladders, roofs, or in high places.
- Work in outdoor conditions, including extreme heat during summer months.
- Adherence to OSHA guidelines and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Travel required to project sites (3–5 days/month).
