Salary Range: $90,000+ based on experience

The Senior Program Manager must be a licensed professional, have experience working with people with SPMIs, and have 3+ years in leadership.

What will you do?
Targeted Case Management Program Operations
- Ensure consistency of quality, accountability, and high standards in programs and services being managed. This includes providing direction for staff and developing/maintaining procedures, working collaboratively with the Director of Clinical Services and Integrated Partnership to implement models and comprehensive frameworks of service delivery consistent with agency mission.
- Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services and Integrated Partnerships to ensure successful implementation of Vail Communities administrative practices related to high quality programs.
- Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services and Integrated Partnerships and other Senior Leadership Team members, as well as external referral sources, to refine systems to improve access, streamline systems, and facilitate the intake process.
- Assures effective coordination with all other departments towards the goal of efficient and effective operations, including providing clinical support for and oversight of Rule 79 Case Management Services.
- Provide oversight and analytic view for case management billing with support from Operations Team.
- Meet and maintain accountability standards for the department, including regulations and requirements necessary for quality service provision.Create performance standards and process measures to develop efficient and cost-effective practices for the Targeted Case Management program.
- Support Clinical Services Managers in leading clinically helpful and meaningful case consultations.
- Participate in Complex Case Consultations with Targeted Case Management team and other departments as needed.
- Collaborates in partnership with Hennepin County leadership around program capacity, systems improvements and new initiatives.
- Facilitates successful attention to Hennepin County communications with new assignments to our program and Hennepin County attorneys office. Supports program assistant in dispersing communications.
Leadership
- Participate in the agency administrative process by participating in management meetings, committee work, and coordination with other agency management personnel.
- Provide supervisors, management, and programs review of agency Incident Reports, Vulnerable Adult Reports and Ombudsman Reports in collaboration with the case management clinical supervisors.
- Communicate and update Targeted Case Management leadership and teams on Vail Communities news, updates, and initiatives on an ongoing basis.
- Provide quality control oversight by reviewing a sampling of files of individuals served on a quarterly basis and complete file review findings report.
- Monitor financial reports and budgetary guidelines in coordination with the Director of Clinical Services and Integrated Partnerships, Finance Director and Operations Director.
- Coordinate and communicate with external relationships, including critical players in mental health arena and staying abreast of local and national mental health trends.
- Assist in the preparation of all program narratives and proposals and preparations for certification, licensing, and audits.
- Ensure accurate, consistent, and meaningful statistical data is collected and evaluation of all programs and services is carried out to assess their impact and success, and to make needed changes and improvements in collaboration with the Data and Evaluation coordinator.
- Oversight for the maintenance of files, records, compliance coordination, including quality assurance.
- Collaborates with other credentialed staff to provide cross program group consultation benefits to staff throughout the agency to help foster supportive and skill development throughout the agency.
Education and Experience
- MSW or MA in human services or related area.
- Licensed LICSW or Mental Health Professional as defined by Minnesota law.
- At least 5 years of experience in mental health.
- At least 3 years supervising staff and program management.
- Must have and maintain a valid Minnesota Drivers License, maintain automobile coverage, and have access to an automobile.
