Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a critical third-party systems migration project for a County organization. This role demands a seasoned professional with a proven background in healthcare IT, specializing in data conversion, application migration, and systems integration. The ideal candidate will excel in managing complex system transitions while ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, covering scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Data Migration and Integration
- Oversee the migration and integration of data and applications from legacy systems to the target environment.
- Ensure accuracy, compliance, and security throughout the migration process.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Collaborate with business leaders, IT teams, and vendors to gather requirements and align project objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
- Risk and Vendor Management
- Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring adherence to industry standards.
- Oversee vendor performance, manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and ensure project deliverables meet quality benchmarks.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- PMP certification is required; Scrum Master certification is a plus.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of project and product management experience in healthcare IT.
- Expertise in data migration and system integration due to mergers or acquisitions.
- Successful track record in managing large-scale projects in diverse healthcare settings (hospitals, clinics).
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and SDLC processes.
- Technical Skills:
- Skilled in tools like SharePoint and Microsoft Project Plan.
- Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud), HL7 interfaces, and healthcare applications (EHR, PACS, Lab systems).
- Key Competencies:
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Job Details:
- Location: San Francisco Bay Area (Remote or Onsite)
- Contract Term: 5–6 months
