Responsibilities:
Join a diverseandindependentgroup charged with developing theprocesses, systems, and softwareused by tomorrow’s engineers. Primary responsibilitiesof this positionincludeliaising with the Global Process Developmentand IT infrastructureteams tomanageglobalprojectsincluding planning, scheduling, budgets, resources, KPI and reporting to senior leadership.
This position involves projects includingmechanicalengineering software such as SiemensTeamCenterPLM,standardization of engineering processes across multiple global engineering developmentcenters andbe a key driver of change management.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+ years in engineering.
- 5+ years Project Management experience.
- Demonstrated leadership on large project implementations.
- Agility to foster relationships between diverse multi-cultural organizations.
- Proactive, able toidentifyprocess opportunitiesand function independently.
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles.
- Responsible for effectivelymitigating and reporting project risk.
- Coordinate and run global cross-functional project meetings.
- Learn and adapt local processes into global ones.
- Coordinate documentation,training, and adoptionof global processes.
- Proficiency in MSOfficescheduling, resource planning, and budgeting.
- Good organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strongly Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP certification preferred.
- Implement LEAN practices to streamline project workflows and improve operational efficiency.
- Quality focused. Adhere toestablishedproceduresand understand globalregulatoryand customsrequirementsrelated to the lift truck industry.
- Decision Making: Exhibitprofessional judgment and a practical understanding of issues;demonstrateanability toset priorities andtake decisive actions toderive a solutioneven when data may be ambiguousor conflicting.
- Innovative: Creative thinking, troubleshooting complex systems, anddevelopunique solutionsto newand difficultproblems.
- Systematic Problem Solving: Demonstrateability to applystructuredprinciples and methods to resolvedifficult or constrainedchallenges.
- Teamwork and Flexibility: Function well in a globalteam environment.Proactivelysolicitopinions. Supportand champion group decisionswhile being respectful of diverse cultures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills when dealing with highly technicalengineeringsubject matter.
- Exposure to, and interest in, industrial equipment (materials handling, automotive, agricultural,or similarmachines) is highly desirable.
This position does not include hands-onwork with forkliftsor any physical requirements.
At least 3days spent in the office in Fairview, OR (2days WFH), although initial office requirements during training might be higher on anas-neededbasis.
