Senior Project Manager - Full Time - L.Z. Design Group, Inc

We are currently looking for a Senior Project Manager

LZ Design Group, Inc. is a landscape design firm located in Los Angeles, specializing in the design of high end residential and private hotel gardens. Our work extends throughout the U.S. and Europe.

Lisa Zeder the founder and principal, has been designing gardens throughout the world for the past 35 years creating park-like environments. 

LZ Design Group, Inc. is a small collaborative office with a dedicated team, who thrive on creating beautifully detailed and lifelong gardens for our clients.

Senior Project Manager

This role is for a full-time, in-person position in our Pacific Palisades office. Candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years work experience as a project manager, and must be highly motivated with strengths in detail design and on-site project supervision.

Job Candidates must have:

• Excellent graphic skills - sketching, and hand drawing ability, not required, but highly valued.
• Experience with all aspects of design services from Schematic Design through to Construction Administration.
• Experience in the preparation of budgets and bidding forms.
• Familiarity and understanding of construction practices, building methods, sequences, and codes
• Horticultural knowledge 
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp or other 3D software, and Microsoft Office.
• A highly organized and thorough approach to work.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, to anticipate needs, and to work efficiently
• A thorough knowledge of technical drawing, detailing, specifications and grading.
• Masters degree in Landscape Architecture preferred, but not required.
• Valid California driver's license required.
