Overview:TRC is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our growing Engineering, Construction and Remediation Practice in New York City, NY. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated individual and have 8-15 years of environmental due diligence, site investigation/characterization, and remediation implementation consulting experience. TRC’s New York City office is a vibrant, dynamic, and fast-paced work environment in the heart of Manhattan, and provides access to a broad spectrum of professional experiences in a setting that thrives on team-work.
Responsibilities:- Management of project scope, schedule, and budget.
- Primary author and developer of proposals, technical scopes of work/work plans, and cost estimates for complex environmental projects with labor, expenses, and subcontractors.
- Primary author of an array of environmental reports, including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) in accordance with the current ASTM Standard, Soil Vapor Intrusion and Indoor Air Quality Investigation Reports, Phase II ESAs, Site Characterization, Remedial Investigation, Site Management Plans, Final Engineering Reports, etc.
- Manage junior environmental scientists in the office and field, including field training, as required.
- Although not a primary responsibility of the position, a successful candidate will be experience reviewing contract documents and performing contractor submittal review.
- Implementation of field work, if needed.
- Demonstrates excellence and efficiency in writing, communication, data analysis, professional judgment, and knowledge of scientific principles.
- Strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and work ethic, with a desire for career growth.
- Strong quality assurance/quality control skills and detail-oriented to perform technical, style, and consistency reviews.
- Ability to manage time and multiple project assignments.
- Working knowledge of health and safety practices.
- Exceptional with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience with project management and environmental consulting in New York City.
- Ability to work in a project team.
- Mentor junior staff.
Required experience:
- B.S. or B.A. in environmental science, geology, engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- 8-15 years of environmental consulting experience with primary focus on environmental due diligence and field investigations.
- Professional geology or engineering license or CHMM is a plus.
- 40-hr HAZWOPER and 10-hr Construction certification would be a plus.
- Valid Driver’s License.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.
Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range:USD $100,000.00 - USD $155,000.00 /Yr.
