Senior Project Manager - Life Science & Industrial Manufacturing Projects
Platinum Global Talent Solutions is delighted to partner with our client, a leading global Consultancy renowned for delivering high-profile, complex and iconic large-scale capital projects. With a strong focus on sustainability and innovation, our client is at the forefront of their industry.
We are seeking to appoint a full-time, talented Senior Project Manager to support major capital projects in the Life Science and Industrial Manufacturing sectors.
Responsibilities
Project Delivery Oversight: Lead the delivery of projects from inception to completion, managing the design, planning, procurement, and construction phases in line with the overall project program and milestones, ensuring all aspects align with client objectives.
Client & Stakeholder Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with the client and key stakeholders, acting as the primary point of contact throughout all project stages to ensure alignment with client goals and successful project outcomes.
Team Leadership & Coordination: Direct and manage the performance of cross-functional project teams, including design, construction, and cost consultants, to ensure the efficient execution of large, complex programs and projects.
Strategic Project Management & Governance: Implement and oversee an effective project management framework, ensuring robust governance, quality systems, and performance management techniques, and proactively addressing quality, safety, and environmental concerns.
Program Financial & Performance Monitoring: Monitor and manage project finances, resource procurement, and reporting, using KPIs and performance management tools to track and improve project outcomes, ensuring projects are delivered within safety, quality, time, and cost targets.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified (MS or MBA preferred) in Construction Management, Engineering or other relevant degree
- A Project Management Institute (PMI) certification or Program Management certification
- Demonstrated capital program leadership experience
- Experience in effectively managing integrated teams on large complex and multi-phase life science and industrial manufacturing capital programs
- Knowledge of multiple project delivery methods, including alternative project delivery (design build and construction manager at risk)
- Extensive experience in the successful planning of projects and programs in the consultancy sector
- Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise
- Strong commercial and financial acumen
- Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams
- Experience managing relationships with key senior stakeholders
- Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability factors will influence the direction and outcomes of the projects you manage

The estimated salary for this position is $125,000. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
