Senior Project Manager- Data & Digital Solutions
-Contract (6 month start)
-Hybrid- Must be onsite in Woburn or Westborough, MA office 2-3 days/week

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to assist the Shared Services team. The Shared Services team is a multifunctional team delivering process optimization, technology solutions, data management, and reporting analytics for all departments within Operations. Day to day you will plan, direct and coordinate business activities to ensure successful completion of projects. As a Senior Project Manager, you will partner cross-functionally to deliver projects that optimize efficiency and/or customer experience.
Responsibilities
• Manage from inception to successful implementation large internal and/or external process or technology projects, which will include:
• Defining project objectives, scope, and level of effort.
• Assigning duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to project personnel.
• Establishing a work plan for each project phase and arranging for recruitment or assignment of project personnel.
• Developing project strategies and plans and identifying required methods and tools.
• Reviewing status reports prepared by project personnel and modifying schedules or plans as required.
• Preparing project status reports for management and business unit leaders.
• Monitoring progress against plan.
• Review project proposals to determine time frame, funding limitations, staffing requirements, and allotment of available departmental resources to various project phases.
• Assist other project management personnel with creating time block and/or actual work plans for their assigned projects.
• Administer resource management scheduling system.
• Update project status summaries weekly for business managers including visibility of resource utilization and availability.
• Adhere to best project management practices and methodologies, such as Professional Management Institute.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Program Management, or related discipline or equivalent work experience required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in project-oriented environment required; experience in an IT environment strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in project management tools required; Experience with MS Project Server or similar scheduling tool preferred.
- Approximately 10% travel may be required in support of the position’s responsibilities.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
