About the Job
IN SUMMARY...
The Senior Project Manager (Sr. PM) position is responsible to design, plan, and drive the execution of enterprise-level system installation and integration efforts by providing leadership, motivation, and support to the project team. The Sr. PM will develop and manage all processes related to implementation, identify, categorize and mitigate risks, and manage the relationship with the customer. This individual will plan for project contingencies and anticipate variations that may affect resources, successful implementation, and revenue. In addition, the PM may occasionally provide pre-sales technical and integration support to sales staff.
WHAT YOU WILL DO...
- Manage and own quality of delivery for client engagements, including planning and execution
- Lead customer kick-off, executive status, project updates, major milestone review, and project close out meetings
- Develop and manage project lifecycles up to and including successful handoff to the Customer Support organization
- Review all pre-sales documents and alert Sales and Contracts to potential technical, logistical or business issues
- Maintain ownership and enforce escalation process for installation issue resolution and give final go/no go on client go-live and implementation departure
- Identify changes in technology, customer environments, and product direction that could adversely affect the efforts of Azalea Health
- Oversee implementation of third party vendors by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables
- Evaluate completed projects to identify wins as well as gaps in order to reduce future occurrences and modify implementations going forward
- Allocate resources with other PMs and management, and maintain installation / project schedules
- Work under minimal supervision on various projects. Wide latitude for independent judgment.
- Liaison with internal departments to ensure necessary needs and goals are being met
- Perform other duties as assigned
BACKGROUND AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING...
- 6+ years experience in technical project management, process/resource management consulting, and/or customer relationship management
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Operations or related field
- Software specific working knowledge required of the following: Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace
- Consulting experience translating model and business process knowledge to clients
- Ability to manage and conduct resource requirements analysis
- Experience working with client data and infrastructure systems and mapping appropriate elements into an enterprise software solution
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Previous experience in developing workflows with documentation and processes that align with program goals and objectives
- Flexibility and adaptability; must be able to seamlessly pivot to meet objectives of physicians, practice administrators, and other executives
- Experience working with Project Management tools such as Microsoft Project, Baton, Smartsheets, Certenia, etc.
- Up to 20% travel required
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS...
- Experience in healthcare, including prior demonstrated experience implementing EHRs, or health information technology
- PMP certification desired
- Experience working with Salesforce
- Demonstrated experience in leading enterprise scale software deployments highly desirable
- Experience in process improvement or workflow consulting a plus
