- project has been underway for over a year, but they are continually adding additional scope. Not starting in the middle of something, working on new projects within the larger project
- the program is related to a rollout of ETF's and scaling infrastructure to support the rollout. This person would be supporting and managing 2-3 workstreams (marketing, sales/distribution, investment support)
- primarily concerned with how ETF's interact with the trading system and investment support workstream

Job Description:
Project Management responsibilities:
- Build excellent working relationships with teams as required.
- Lead and facilitate project discussions and meetings, ensuring they are task oriented and objective driven to ensure the efficient use of everyone's time who are involved.
- Escalate risks and issues to the program leadership as appropriate
- Support management of project according to established methodology and standards.
- Continually update relevant business stakeholders on project status and publish project status reports as and when required.
- Represent the project in various project governance and inter-department forums.
- Define and track project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall and integrated delivery plan.
- Ensure the project meets success parameters and business objectives.
- Direct medium and/or support large-scale, complex projects that may involve multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Develop the project charter, integrated project plan, resource plan, contingency plan, and related project management artifacts
- Evaluate trade-offs between project size and complexity, cost, urgency, risk, and stakeholder value
- Partner with business sponsors to define success metrics and criteria
- Build, lead, and coach multiple project teams throughout project lifecycles
- Facilitate all operational checkpoint activities throughout the lifecycle of projects
- Assess and resolve all high priority project risks as they are encountered
Required
- 8+ years of Project Management experience
- 8+ years of experience in Financial Services Industry
- Asset Management industry experience
- Experience of managing senior sponsors – 4 year minimum
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Excel PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Outstanding client relationship management skills
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to translate and simplify complex business and technical concepts
- Ability to work well with people with varying technical, business, and cultural backgrounds
- Comfortable working with executive management
- Ability to manage multiple medium and large projects
- High level of analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing projects in a matrixed environment
Preferred
- PMP Certification
