Senior Project Engineer - Work Rocket

TRG Manufacturing Search Division is seeking a talented Senior Project Engineer to join a thriving custom injection molding company. As a key member of our tight-knit, 5-person engineering team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our continued success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership: Lead and manage complex projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality, on-time delivery.
• Technical Expertise: Leverage your in-depth knowledge of plastic injection molding to provide technical guidance and support.
• Customer Focus: Build strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and delivering exceptional service.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with production, tool maintenance, automation, and other teams to achieve project goals.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Plastics, or Engineering Technology preferred).
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in plastic injection molded part design and manufacturing.
• Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in SolidWorks, PDM Vault, ERP, and project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of mold and machine design principles. Experience with 3D part printing is a plus.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-centric approach.

Bonus Points:

• Experience delivering value-added services that create cost-saving opportunities for customers.
• Hands-on experience with 3D printing.
