Why This Role?
As Senior Project Engineer, you’ll take the lead on exciting, high-impact projects and be instrumental in advancing the company's engineering capabilities across their operations. Here’s how you’ll contribute:
- Plan and Lead: Manage engineering assessments, cost estimates, design requirements, and execution of small to medium capital projects
- Collaborate: Work with plant management, corporate teams, and vendors to develop project scopes, layouts, and equipment plans.
- Deliver Impact: Manage and execute $10MM+ in annual capital spend for one manufacturing facility.
- Strategize and Optimize: Prepare facility layouts, recommend equipment, and ensure efficient plant processes.
- Innovate: Drive projects focused on business growth, quality improvements, safety, and sustainability.
What You’ll Bring to the Table:
- Experience: 10+ years managing capital projects, leading cross-functional teams.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of USDA Dairy and 3A requirements; utilities, PSM, and ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Leadership: Strong interpersonal and presentation skills to inspire teams and manage external resources effectively.
- Industry Know-How: Familiarity with sanitary design, GMPs, food safety, and manufacturing best practices in the Dairy Foods industry.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
