The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects while ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client expectations. This role involves leading project teams, managing budgets, and coordinating with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality results on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Projects Manager and Superintendent to ensure administrative, contractual, financial, and technical aspects of the assigned project are being executed as required by contract documents.
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and team members to ensure project requirements are met.
- Prepare and review project documentation, including plans, specifications, and reports.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying any potential issues and implementing solutions promptly.
- Assist the project team in the implementation of the Resource Focusing System (RFS)
- Review cost reports and coordinate with the Project Accountant to ensure accuracy of budget revisions and cost coding.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or 6 years field construction experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, project management principles, and safety regulations.
- Experience in healthcare and commercial construction projects is preferred.
