Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Manage project accounting activities, including job costing, AIA billing, and lien releases.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate and timely completion of project accounting tasks.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and related reports for management review.
- Analyze project costs and provide recommendations for cost savings.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
- Participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in project accounting in the Construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of job costing, AIA billing, and lien releases.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
