As we continue to grow, we're looking for a dedicated Senior Project Accountant to lead and oversee our Project Accounting team. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and mentor the project accounting staff.
Lead the accounting and financial reporting efforts for large projects.
Prepare comprehensive financial statements and work-in-progress (WIP) data for joint venture partners.
Collaborate with senior leaders in finance, operations, and project management to enhance financial processes.
Develop and analyze business plans, budgets, forecasts, and financial variances.
Manage financials and billing with both internal and external stakeholders and joint venture partners, ensuring compliance with contractual terms.
Conduct detailed productivity and profitability analyses and report findings to leadership.
Offer strategic insights on financial impacts related to labor, materials, equipment, and assets.
Participate in project reviews, providing critical data on actual versus forecasted costs and key performance indicators.
Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
Relevant accounting experience in construction, engineering, architecture, manufacturing, or a related industry.
Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to provide insightful financial advice to various organizational levels.
Strong project and time management capabilities.
Proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
