In this role, you will:

• Oversee construction-related accounting activities, including job costing, WIP (work-in-progress) reporting, and contract billing
• Prepare and maintain accurate project financial reports, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including analyzing project budgets and expenses
• Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and project profitability
• Monitor project performance and perform variance analysis to support decision-making
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company-specific accounting policies

You're a great fit if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related fields
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction accounting or project-based accounting
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a project team

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with construction-specific accounting software (e.g., Sage, Viewpoint, or similar)
• Familiarity with construction cost accounting, WIP schedules, and job costing
