GENERAL SUMMARY
The Sr. Programmer Analyst is responsible to plan, design, develop, document, test, and support efficient business operations software applications in use. This individual will be a mentor and team leader of the development staff. This role will also provide technical support and reporting for Fiscal Services and the Office of People and Culture.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES.
- Plan, develop, design, develop, launch, and support efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core organizational and business functions on primary assigned systems.
- Apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help identify, communicate, and resolve systems issues in conjunction with key users and process owners, in order to maximize the benefit of IT systems investments on primary assigned systems outlined below.
- Develop automated ETL processes for the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Ensure processed data is clean, and accurate, and complete.
- Set up routine reports. Develop and run ad-hoc reports on applications assigned.
- Is the team leader and mentor for Programmers, Jr. Programmers
- Will prepare and deliver weekly status updates in all projects to the Director of Data Management.
- Maintains thorough understanding of information technology as it pertains to Center operations. Conducts special research on new and emerging technologies.
- Special technology projects as assigned. This includes heavy participation in the implementation or restructuring of vendor based information systems. (HRIS, EHR, ERP)
- Participate in strategic planning for data management and goal setting for programmers.
- Special technology projects as assigned.
MINIMUM ENTRANCE QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information System, or other 4-year degree focusing on information systems technology.
- Proven experience in performing, developing, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.
- Proven experience in successfully completing complex projects, and coordinating with system vendors and contractors on various levels.
- Five (5) years’ experience with relational database systems, such as MS-SQL and above, Oracle, or MySQL
- Five (5) years’ experience in programming languages to include C#, ASP.NET, T-SQL, PowerShell Scripting, PowerShell.
- Five (5) years’ experience with development in reporting tools, and enterprise data warehouse.
- Must maintain required credentials and mandatory training requirements to ensure compliance with all State regulations and CHCS policies.
- Must maintain a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance coverage, be able to travel as needed, and be able to meet on a consistent basis the driving record requirements of the Company’s auto insurance carrier if you drive your vehicle during company business
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements to complete SAMA and CPR training including lifting up to 12 lbs. and supporting up to 55 lbs.; bending, stooping and getting on and off the floor without assistance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Extensive Work experience in and fundamental knowledge of health care settings, and a fundamental knowledge of healthcare processes, both clinical and business related.
- Prior experience supporting HRIS and ERP software, and system implementation.
- Experience with Microsoft SSAS Tabular and Multidimensional models
- Experience with SSRS, PowerBI.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Knowledge and working experience Electronic Medical Records, General Ledger Systems and HR Management Systems.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements to complete SAMA and CPR training including lifting up to 12 lbs. and supporting up to 55 lbs.; bending, stooping and getting on and off the floor without assistance.
- Must have adequate mobility that requires frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching (vertical and horizontal), using fingers, hands, feet, legs and torso in various cares.
Compensation Package
Salary Range: $73,610.00 – $110,415.00 Per Year
