The Infrastructure Planning and Acquisition (IPA) organization is seeking a Senior Program Manager- Site Acquisitions to support activities related to Land acquisitions in AMERICAS region. This critically important role will ensure proposed data center sites are progressing though Microsoft's internal assessment processes up to and including closing the site acquisition. Consequently, a critical part of the role is to secure funding for Site Due Diligence activities and reporting project output to the Senior Leadership team and its strategic partners/stakeholders.

**Responsibilities**
+ Ensure Site Due Diligence process is clear and robust; constantly seek improvement opportunities
+ Perform data analysis as required for driving infrastructure decisions.
+ Build and manage key relationships needed to support due diligence timelines.
+ Drive collaboration and alignment on plans; cross-functional relationships.
+ Assist in implementation of a relevant system of metrics to plan, manage, measure, and evaluate processes effectiveness pertaining to acquisition support.
**Qualifications**
**Required/Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years Portfolio Management, Program Management, or Commercial Real Estate Development experience.-OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
+ 4+ years' experience in data and analysis for decision making in the Data Center physical infrastructure
+ 4+ years' experience in financial transaction coordination and project management in an industrial/commercial or data center real estate operations.
**Other Requirements:**
+ These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ 10+ year program management experience driving mission critical cross functional infrastructure projects with end to end dependencies
+ Experience in planning cloud specific infrastructure
+ A track record of coordinating high quality projects
+ Ability to communicate and present complex analysis at the executive levels for alignment and decision making
+ Communication and leadership skills to drive projects and build buy-in and support
Technical Program Management IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
