Senior Program Manager - Microsoft Corporation

The Microsoft Azure Core fundamentals team builds and manages the fundamental platform experiences across Azure compute, storage and networking services. This role will play a significant part creating strategic and near-term initiatives to evolve the fundamental production experience across compute and networking services. You will have the opportunity to work with key customers and partners to fuel the growth of the Azure platform. We are looking for a strong Senior Program Manager to drive highly impactful cross-organization initiatives around end-to-end experiences spanning multiple Azure services. This is a pivotal role in Azure. To succeed in this role, you should have strong technical and analytical skills, excellent cross-group collaboration skills, and a passion for driving great customer experiences. You should also be able to make data driven decisions and be very strong in deriving insights based on data. You should be comfortable building strong relations with our partners and engineering teams, influencing the roadmaps and executive presentations. You'll be working with teams across multiple organizations in Azure to influence, prioritize improvements in our services, processes, and the tools that will help us improve the platform. Finally, we're looking for team players with a can-do approach, who have a strong bias towards action and results. **Responsibilities** + Drive technical platform investments across Azure engineering teams + Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to define requirements to manage the cloud platform + Prepare and deliver high quality executive reviews + Define KPIs and establish and execute on plans for improving those KPIs + Partner with the development team on scenario design, product tradeoffs, incremental delivery + Present to customers, use customer, and partner feedback to continuously improve the product + Deliver end to end customer experiences spanning across multiple Azure services **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications:** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical education/experience + 6+ years of professional product/program management experience **Preferred Qualifications:** + Experience driving programs in a large-scale services environment + Experience working with partners and customers external to the organization + Worked on low level platform features/functionality + Worked on a cloud platform + Knowledge of networking / networking on cloud platforms + Big data/Kusto/AI & ML knowledge or experience Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
