The Azure CXP (Customer Experience) team is the product and platform engineering, service delivery, onboarding, and customer success unit in Azure engineering, responsible for deploying and managing customers' mission-critical workloads; providing complete customer care through in-product experiences and platforms and strategic customer support delivery; identifying product opportunities and gaps and then driving innovations and improvements into the product. We are building a data platform as the base for this vision and are looking for an established Technical Program Manager having experience with Modern Data Platforms and their governance. Join us to deliver this critical and highly visible responsibility for Azure Engineering and our Microsoft cloud customers. **Responsibilities** We are treading new ground in defining how to think about a customer engagement and care data platform for Azure, and as the first IC PM for this area, you will play a critical role towards realizing this vision. In this role you will be responsible for establishing a governance model for the data platform while also contributing to its architecture and design. You will learn from, influence and collaborate with a wide network of stakeholders, across many data domains to build a common understanding and alignment on the roadmap and execution for the platform. The ideal candidate will possess a deep knowledge of modern data platforms, data governance and deriving customer insights based on data, with a proven history of leading agile development of reusable tools and frameworks for real time data processing, analytics, and streaming unstructured data within enterprise systems. This role primarily focuses on designing and building our next generation customer data intelligence & insights platform which will enable us to aggregate engagement information and make it available across all our workflows. This will enable us to better know and understand our customers and proactively address their cloud platform needs. This is an exciting and growing space requiring innovation, focus, and drive across technology, processes, and people. + Develop, communicate and align the team on a governance model for the customer experience Data Platform. The governance model should encompass compliance, privacy, security and quality. + Build an effective data catalog and inventory across our data domains + Execute Data Contracts with our upstream data source teams ensuring SLO/SLIs based on the use case. + Contribute to the overall design of the Data Platform, banking on previous experience as well as research across the industry + Expertly partner with key players in the Customer Experience & Success space, both within Azure and across Microsoft, to maintain alignment, ensure knowledge and information sharing and drive meaningful outcomes for the organization. + Solve complex data integration, processing, and analytical problems with reusable frameworks. + Design and build tooling for business to manage data quality and perform self-service exploration and analysis of raw and curated data on the platform. **Qualifications** **Required Qualifications** + 5+ years of program/product management/software engineering experience and experience translating customer requirements and scenarios into features, including writing software specifications with user experiences + 3+ years of experience working on Data Platforms and Governance + 3+ years of experience in Azure or other public cloud experience (AWS, GCP). **Preferred Qualifications** + Experience using data to drive prioritization and measure progress + Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment + Exceptional collaboration and communication skills (verbal and written); Ability to clearly communicate business problems and complex technical issues to a broad audience + Excellent cross-discipline leadership, collaboration and influencing skills.
