You can be part of a strategic team with Microsoft-wide and industry-wide impact. #azstoragepm **Responsibilities** We are looking for an energetic, and tech-savvy Senior Program Manager / Product Manager to help build the next generation storage platform. You will work closely with other PM's, Software Engineers, Finance and other teams to enable hyperscale growth with efficiency. You will define and drive a strategy for reducing our cost profile.You will use a broad and deep understanding of the technical architecture and business strategy. Job responsibilities will involve: + Research customer scenarios and industry trends to formulate platform vision + Analyze product usage patterns and platform behavior to understand and model opportunities for optimization + Understand, evaluate, balance, and represent different points of view as you work across teams + Create multi-year roadmaps for our cost profile + Work across Microsoft teams to develop and launch platform innovations on schedule To succeed in this role, you should have: + Strong technical background, with the ability to work directly with customers, partners, engineering teams, and business teams + Excellent analytical skills, including cost modeling, and passion for data and the principles behind decisions + Strong strategic thinking, with ability to identify new ways of looking at problems and identifying opportunities for innovation + Excellent collaboration, communication, and coordination skills with the ability to lead virtual teams through ambiguity **Qualifications** Required Qualifications: + 5+ years of professional technical program or product management experience + 3+ years in cloud-based businesses + BA/BS degree in computer science, engineering or related disciplines + Strong background in Software Engineering principles and architecture design, with some (potentially informal) experience with business finance and/or supply chain. Knowledge of on-premises storage systems is a plus Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
