The Azure Networking team continues to innovate across the network stack, pushing new scale and features into the cloud while transforming our datacenter infrastructure to meet the growing needs 200-plus Microsoft online services, including Bing, Office 365, SharePoint, Skype, OneDrive and several hundred thousand customers using Azure to host and run their Cloud Services in over 100 datacenters, running millions of servers and edge computing nodes all over the world.
Microsoft Cloud IP Address management team is responsible for the Cloud IP Addressing strategy. The team is chartered with leading initiatives to maximize IP address utilization through technical innovation across Microsoft cloud services. This means we have knowledge and understanding of projects across the landscape. We are a team of highly motivated and flexible Program Managers.
**Responsibilities**
We are looking for a motivated program manager that is ready to lead teams into the next generation. Responsibilities will include developing and tracking deliverables for IPv6 implementation, identifying roadblocks and strategies for moving forward, and reporting on progress. You will be responsible for developing a roadmap and driving the deliverables across many teams. This will include identifying business justifications for the prioritization of the work, discussions with the sales teams and customers to understand what is needed and that the roadmap makes sense for the business and customers.
**Qualifications**
Required
6+ years of technical program management/engineering experience in cloud or IT industry
+ Strong focus on delivering end to end customer value
+ Demonstrated technical problem solving and communication skills
+ Comfortable working in a fast-paced dynamic environment with rapidly changing requirements
+ Track record of making pragmatic business and engineering tradeoffs to deliver business value
+ Demonstrated leadership and exceptional cross-team skills
+ Clear understanding of the business and ability to drive customer, partner, and executive meetings
Other Qualifications
+ 10+ years of technical program management/engineering experience in cloud or IT industry
+ Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or a related field
**This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.**
