We are looking to hire a Senior Program Manager for Microsoft Cloud Operations and Innovation (CO&I) is team.? Within CO&I, the Region Design & Technology team is responsible for the region designs, architectures, and technologies at the convergence of physical infrastructure and the service platform to enable the sustained expansion and performance of the cloud.
We are seeking a passionate, self-motivated, and high energy Senior Program Manager to drive complex project requirements, cross-org collaboration, remove obstacles and influence consensus in relentless principled pursuit of cloud expansion and growth. In this role, you will work closely with deep-expertise globally situated peers across multiple lines of business in Geo-Expansion, Data Center, and service engineering disciplines to plan, coordinate,
and execute complex infrastructure and cloud services-based projects. You will collaborate across multiple groups within and beyond the Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) team, seeking to align priorities with partner engineering organizations.

**Responsibilities**
+ Drive strategy and programs focused on optimizing the time-to-market and investment cost of Azure infrastructure balancing adherence to Azure Infrastructure Principles and meeting specialized requirements from strategic customers and industries.
+ Curate and uphold the Azure Infrastructure Principles that enable faultless, continuous cloud growth through the application of standards governing infrastructure and platform expansion.
+ Develop new and evolve existing Azure region architectures and region types in support of continuous expansion.
+ Consult on region design ensuring infrastructure expansion alignment with Azure service platform requirements and ability to meet customer promises of resiliency, availability, security, and privacy.
+ Drive solutions and/or provide principled guidance on constrained or atypical expansion projects in real time.

**Qualifications**
**Required/Minimum Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
**Other Requirements**
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements is required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check. This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
**Additional or Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's Degree AND 8+ years experience in engineering, product/technical program management, data analysis, or product development
+ OR equivalent experience.
+ 6+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
+ 1+ year(s) experience reading and/or writing code (e.g., sample documentation, product demos).
Technical Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.
