About the Job
Capgemini Government Solutions (CGS) is seeking a highly motivated Sr. Program Manager to join our team. The SPM leads and manages all service support and service management processes for project specific engagements as part of the ongoing services to our clients. The PM will work closely with project technical and functional leads to lead teams building and maintaining cloud-based systems and products.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to apply and grow their skills, work with a motivated and entrepreneurial team, engage with a wide range of collaborators, and build CGS’ capabilities.
As a Sr. Program Manager you will:

Lead clients to ensure satisfaction with team performance

Coordinate with technical leads for Agile Delivery Program with cloud-based technology stacks across teams who can consider bigger picture goals when making decisions and presenting issues

Develop project schedules, product roadmaps, and implementation plans

Spearhead work streams and coordinate resources across multiple development teams

Gather and present metrics regarding project status to clients, technical leads, and executive leadership

Proactively develop and implement efficiency improvements that can be implemented in several areas

Facilitate effective communication and establish risk and issue mitigation plans to promote project success

Lead team members and subcontractors in not only day-to-day tasking but also in setting vision, leading performance, and demonstrating client-first philosophy.

Administer contract, financials, staffing and budget forecast

Lead monthly client and internal Program Management Reviews (PMRs)

Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation such as system requirements in a continuous testing and deployment environment

Provide guidance and coaching to team members and leadership on importance of Agile and how to implement

Participate in growth initiatives
Required Qualifications:
-
U.S. Citizenship
-
Eligible to obtain and maintain Government Security Clearance
-
Experience with Agile System Development methodologies
-
Ability to prioritize and display a high level of adaptability/flexibility while handling job responsibilities
-
Relevant work experience in a similar role
-
Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
-
Proficient in the use of tools and methods to efficiently lead product releases, sprints, and development cycles.

Excellent communication and facilitation skills, think outside the box/about the big picture and goal-driven (do-er)

Excellent knowledge of Scrum and Agile techniques and artifacts (such as definition of done, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement, Technical Debt, PI Planning)

DHS work experience
-
PMP certification
-
Experience leading 80+ FTE
Preferred Qualifications

SAFe certification a plus, but not required
