The Engineering Systems team inside WebXT supports the Microsoft Bing, Ads, Edge, Content Services and Maps engineering teams with thousands of software engineers around the globe. We provide the infrastructure, systems, and tools necessary for the external-facing product teams to develop and ship their code at the velocity their business necessitates.
**Responsibilities**
As a Program Manager of Engineering Systems, you will drive various cross cutting programs that have positive impact on DevOps experience and productivity for 8000+ engineers. You will collaborate with champions from many teams to define and align a set of best practices for our engineers to follow. You will be the owner of these infrastructure and tooling that are enablers of better engineering productivity. Success in our organization's productivity will be your success. This is an energetic team in Microsoft with a startup atmosphere, where anything is possible. It is a KPI & experiment driven, agile & adaptive, high-performance team. **Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ 5+ years of experience directly working with large scale software engineering systems (build and/or source control systems) in a program manager, release manager, or software development function.
+ Experienced in leading with and making decisions based on data and metrics.
+ Experience with leading, driving change, and influencing without authority across groups.
+ Must have deep passion for technology, efficiency, quality, and customer experience.
+ B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied mathematics or related areas.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Experienced in defining, measuring, innovating, and driving change in large-scale software products and systems.
+ Containers, microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure Container Service.
+ Cloud scale Telemetry and Business Metrics analysis system.
+ Ability to concisely frame problems, design solutions, alternatives, and product strategy.
