We are seeking a highly innovative and motivated Program Integrator to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama, supporting critical Department of Defense (DoD) Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs within Army Aviation and Missile portfolios. As a Program Integrator, you will play a key role in coordination among functional areas and external organizations, including: engineering, logistics, business, and contracts to provide effective program management strategies and ensure successful delivery of weapon system capabilities to foreign partners. This dynamic position requires a strategic thinker with exceptional critical thinking skills, strong drive and initiative, and a proven track record of credibility and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Coordination and Integration:
- Lead and coordinate program activities with a focus on supporting FMS requirements for non-standard missile and aviation systems as part of Security Assistance Management Directorate (SAMD). Provide comprehensive program coordination in support of the Director’s priorities and the overall organizational mission.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, logistics, business, and operations, to prepare an approach to configure, qualify, support and deliver FMS-unique aviation and missile systems to foreign partners. This may include systems no longer in Army inventory, new FMS-unique configurations of Army equipment, or new unique aviation or missile platforms designed for a foreign partner.
- Develop and manage a comprehensive strategy to support non-standard FMS requirements, identifying and bridging gaps in technical, logistics, and business processes to enable rapid delivery of capabilities to foreign partners.
- Support the Director in understanding and tailoring traditional functional, security assistance, and acquisition processes, policies and regulations.
- Work closely with technical experts and with security assistance enterprise stakeholders to ensure interoperability among different components to provide an effective, supportable capability.
Critical Analysis and Problem Solving:
- Anticipate the Director’s needs and demonstrate strong critical analysis skills to generate, propose, and implement solutions to complex, high-impact requirements.
- Develop strategies to address potential challenges, resistance to change, stakeholder concerns, and ensure program success.
- Define and manage program requirements, ensuring they align with mission objectives and stakeholder needs.
- Coordinate with technical teams to refine, allocate and update requirements based on FMS partner priorities, evolving requirements and technological advancements.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, including government representatives, contractors, and internal team members. Key stakeholders include FMS partners, USASAC, DSCA, DASA(DEC), CCDC DEVCOM AvMC, AMCOM Logistics Center, AMCOM, Army Test & Evaluation Command, Project/Product Offices within and external to PEO Aviation and PEO Missiles & Space, Army Materiel Command, other Lifecycle Management Commands, and Army Contracting Command.
- Provide regular updates on program progress, milestones, and challenges.
- Work closely with the SAMD and functional organization teams to develop program estimates (Pricing & Availability, ROM, and LOA Datasets) that reflect appropriate identification of technical, logistics, business and programmatic support for each non-standard requirement.
Qualifications:
- Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (engineering, project management, business, etc.); advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience in program management, specifically in the defense industry with a focus on aviation and/or missile defense systems.
- Experience working with Foreign Military Sales programs and international partners.
- Familiarity with DoD adaptive acquisition processes, policies, and regulations.
- Experience coordinating across functional areas and organizational boundaries to ensure technical, logistics, business, and programmatic considerations are evaluated and incorporated into program planning and implementation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage and gain stakeholder buy-in and build effective working relationships.
Preferred Skills:
- DAWIA Program Management and/or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
- Experience working with non-standard FMS programs or dynamic, unique, low-density requirements (i.e. SOCOM or Quick Reaction Capability requirements)
