The Sr. Production Lead is responsible for establishing and monitoring aircraft maintenance and accurately completing aircraft paperwork to ensure safe and timely delivery.
SHIFT: Monday through Friday 3:30 pm to 2 am (OT as required)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Assist in the supervision of all personnel and operations on shift.
+ Keep aircraft maintenance on schedule.
+ Establish mechanic work priorities.
+ Ensure work performed adheres to high quality standards.
+ Effectively interact with customer representatives.
+ Maintain thorough knowledge of all processes and equipment.
+ Report any process and equipment problems.
+ Organize work for smooth operation.
+ Ensure that established policy, rules, and regulations, and procedures are followed.
+ Responsible for all processes, equipment, employees, safety, and housekeeping of the area and meeting production quality and quantity standards while maintaining project schedule.
+ Supervise Lead Mechanics, ensuring maintenance procedures are followed.
+ All other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
+ Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
+ FAA Airframe license OR Repairman's certificate is required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
+ Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT
+ Constantly: Lifting 10 lbs., standing, walking, wrist flexion and extension, environmental weather conditions.
+ Frequently: Lifting ≤40 lbs., push/pull <20 lbs., climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling for extended periods, working in confined spaces. Working above chest-level, overhead, and away from body for extended periods. Bending, twisting of torso, twisting and/or pressure with wrist/hands, fine finger usage, moderate vibrations up to 2 hrs. to high vibrations up to 30 mins. Vision with/without correction; near <20”, far >20’, and basic depth perception (shapes). Working at elevated heights ≥4’, working on ladders, scaffolding, uneven surfaces, and energized parts.
+ Occasionally: Lifting and/or carry ≤50 lbs., sitting, basic color vision, operation of motorized or electrical equipment, push/pull <50 lbs., work in wet conditions.
