PXT Departures is looking for a Senior Product Manager (Technical) to lead and build solutions for Amazon's business that raise the bar on HR technology. We're looking for an individual who thrives working in ambiguous and fast paced environment, defines compelling and impactful product visions, and collaborates with stakeholders cutting across organization boundaries to drive the organization goals.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the product roadmap of internal systems that Amazonian employees and HR use across the globe.
- Define strategic product visions, roadmaps, requirements
- Work with cross-functional engineering and product teams across the globe to deliver features
- Partner with business stakeholders to discover product needs, obtain approvals and launch successfully
- Deep dive into metrics to highlight successes, identify opportunities and prioritize work
- Present product demos and updates to leadership
About the team
The Departures team is responsible for ensuring seamless job transitions for Amazonians through the proactive identification of performance and attendance issues with transparent and consistent expectations, provide them the opportunity to appeal these decisions, and ultimately guide them through their transitions that enable accurate and timely process execution.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience building employee and HR solutions with a varied set of policies

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
