System1 is looking for a Senior Product Manager to join the Startpage team, focusing on managing the Startpage mobile apps. In this role, you will lead the management of consumer-facing Startpage mobile apps on iOS and Android, working closely with a global team.

As the Senior Mobile Product Manager at Startpage, you will play a key role in shaping the vision and strategy for our app products.
The Role You Will Have:
- Lead the product vision, strategy, and evolution of Startpage mobile apps to establish a top-tier search experience with strong global brand recognition.
- Work closely with a distributed development team, designers, and stakeholders across the company to translate market insights, user research, and product analytics into compelling product requirements and user stories.
- Prioritize and scope new features and enhancements, balancing user needs against business objectives.
- Lead the product roadmap to deliver an exceptional private search experience and develop strategies to upsell features that users can subscribe to, always maintaining a privacy-first and user-focused mindset.
- Effectively communicate feature progress, milestones, and impact to the Startpage team, the System1 team, and management.
- Design experiments within the app to test new features, optimize user experiences, and drive data-driven decisions, collaborating with development and analytics teams to ensure proper execution and evaluation.
- Contribute to the broader product strategy by providing insights and recommendations based on user and customer feedback.
- Demonstrate proficiency in engaging with both internal and external technical stakeholders to oversee complex integrations and ensure the successful delivery of the app with third-party vendors.
- Take the lead in collaborating with marketing, customer support, and data teams.
- 5+ years of product management or related technical experience.
- 2+ years of experience in mobile app product management, with a track record of successfully shipping a mobile app or key features.
- Proven ability to influence multiple stakeholders without direct authority.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to collaborate with internal and external teams.
- Experience leveraging data to drive product decisions.
- Strong organizational skills suited to a fast-paced work environment.
- Passion for creating mobile app product experiences that deliver measurable business value.
- Preferred experience in a startup or entrepreneurial setting.
- Familiarity with SQL, Amplitude, Tableau (or other data visualization tools), Excel, Google Analytics.
- Worked on subscription app products.
- Computer science or software engineering background or hands-on development experience.
- Previous involvement in privacy and/or consumer brands.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $172,000 - $257,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. System1’s headquarters is located in Marina del Rey, CA with additional offices in Bellevue, WA and Guelph, ON, Canada. Employees near office locations are returning to the office. Location-specific policies and available accommodations will be discussed during the interview process.
