We are actively seeking a Senior Product Manager to join our team. This is a hybrid role located in Dedham, MA.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic Marketing & Campaigns:
- Lead downstream marketing initiatives, including campaigns, programs, advertising, and event strategies, to achieve business objectives.
- Develop and execute promotional strategies to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth.
Product Strategy & Portfolio Development:
- Identify new product opportunities by analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
- Collaborate with R&D, Strategic Sourcing, and other stakeholders to assess investment opportunities and prioritize product development initiatives.
- Develop business cases for new products, including market potential, ROI projections, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Drive the innovation pipeline, ensuring alignment with market demands and long-term growth strategies.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Leadership:
- Inspire, train, and align a diverse group of stakeholders towards achieving shared goals.
- Serve as the primary liaison with the sales team, ensuring alignment of marketing strategies with sales objectives.
Sales Enablement & Training:
- Develop effective sales tools and training materials to communicate product features, benefits, and differentiators.
- Deliver impactful training sessions to equip sales teams with the skills and knowledge to drive revenue growth.
Customer-Centric Insights:
- Maintain a strong focus on the customer by understanding clinical practices, patient needs, and market trends.
- Use customer insights to refine marketing strategies, improve product positioning, and identify opportunities for growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Build and nurture strong relationships across departments, including Sales, Strategic Sourcing, Pricing, R&D, Customer Service, and Product Support, to ensure alignment and effective execution of product strategies.
Business Acumen & Planning:
- Develop projects, tools, and campaigns to grow assigned product families with strong ROI/ROS.
- Exhibit deep knowledge of marketing principles and disciplines, enabling the creation of robust marketing plans that impact revenue and strategic growth.
- Manage department budgets, allocate resources effectively, and mentor team members to enhance performance and productivity.
Product Expertise & Market Positioning:
- Become the subject matter expert for the assigned product portfolio.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop product pricing, positioning strategies, and ensure alignment with market needs.
Relationship Building & Industry Engagement:
- Foster relationships with key opinion leaders, customers, and patient advocacy groups to strengthen industry presence and build brand equity.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings to maintain strong market visibility.
Revenue & Margin Goals:
- Partner with colleagues to establish and achieve annual revenue and margin targets, ensuring profitability and long-term growth.
- Develop, track, and publish metrics to track progress toward product, department, and enterprise financial objectives.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- BA/BS in marketing, communications or related field required, MBA preferred.
- 10+ years' experience in related field.
- Possess a strong business acumen. Demonstrate knowledge of marketing disciplines and concepts necessary for building winning marketing plans.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (MS Power BI a plus).
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to >10 lbs.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly.
