Join us.About the teamAs a part of the TikTok UED Monetization Product team you will work on fast growing consumer advertising products and innovate new ways to get great videos in front of our users.
You will work with fellow designers as well as cross functional roles to grow, improve and redesign the product to increase its effectiveness.
Being part of teammember here, you will be able to utilize qualitative/quantitative studies to collect user feedback, create a deep understanding and empathy for our customers, and work cross-functionally with design, product, and marketing teams to meet the business needs.In this role you will:• Take the lead in understanding the goals and revenue expectations of the product, and work to design new solutions as well as improve existing ones to reach those goals.• Need a strong understanding of social feeds, advertising, and tools that can easily help creators and customers promote their work and products.• Create and test rough prototypes early in the design process to create confidence in a solution• Design high-fidelity UI and UX specs to clearly communicate requirements to your team's engineers • Help make high-level strategic decisions with the rest of the product team• Contribute your design thinking skills to other areas of the platform (Research, Marketing, product education, customer success, etc.)QualificationsMinimum QualificationsExperience with designing and shipping an end to end product with complicated flows, multiple scenarios, multiple roles and tricky edge cases• Experience working on tooling for ads, monetization, or feed-based products• Proven ability to empathize with and build solutions for users• History of working successfully with PM, Engineering, Research, and other stakeholders to ship high quality products• Ability to think at a high level about product strategy and vision while maintaining a keen eye for visual UI details• Self-motivated and able to efficiently run with a project without close supervision• Love to discuss design in group settings; participate in design critiques and reviewsPreferred Qualifications:* Minimum 5 years of experience in product design settings.• Experienced or interested in data visualization• Able to navigate ambiguous problems to arrive at a clear product design direction• History launching 0-1 products• Enjoy solving hard problems and building strong resilienceTikTok is committed to creating an inclusive space where employees are valued for their skills, experiences, and unique perspectives.
