Senior Procurement Specialist - City of Riviera Beach

Job Summary

This is highly responsible, specialized work, of a more technical nature in connection with the purchasing operation of the city. Under minimal supervision and with extended periods of relative autonomy and general review, an employee in this classification is expected to exercise considerable independent judgment in performing the complete range of activities associated with the procurement needs of assigned City departments. Work includes the preparation of complex bid invitations and proposal requests, development of specifications and related contracts for a wide range of equipment, high technology goods, services, and maintenance service contracts in accordance with procurement requirements and policies.
