Key Responsibilities
- Lead validation and qualification activities for new and improved manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and optimize manufacturing systems to ensure compliance with quality standards and operational efficiency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and other process excellence tools.
- Lead medium to large-scale capital projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement innovative process solutions.
- Perform statistical analyses to guide decision-making and ensure process capability.
- Prepare and present technical reports, protocols, and project updates to stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Master's degree preferred.
Required:
- 2-4 years of related engineering experience degree.
- Proven expertise in process engineering, including validation and optimization.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with experience in statistical tools such as Minitab.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Familiarity with 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, and GMP/QSR standards.
- Experience with injection molding, extrusion, needles, or sutures processes.
- Practical knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and process improvement.
- The anticipated base pay range for this position is 77000 to 124200.
- Travel: Up to 25% to support business needs.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 15 lbs and perform light physical tasks.
- Work Environment: This role is primarily office-based with occasional on-site manufacturing support. It adheres to Johnson & Johnson's Flex Policy, requiring three days on-site and two days remote each week.
